Seems like the older case dozers are priced right there with the older john deeres in the same era. If you plan on keeping it along time resale wouldnt matter that much. They seem to hold there resale well also. I would imagine if it only has 450 hours the undercarriage shouldnt have hardly any wearĪs far as resale I wouldnt sell the case short. If you could truly verify the hours on the case I would think it would be a better buy. The original 750 and 850 models were hydro as were their offspring. Have a 650G and no complaints lots of power for trim dozzen never had anything to do with case always heard they were lighter Posted 00:09 (#1829753 - in reply to #1829500) Subject: Re: Dozers Deere vs Caseĭeere has had hydro dozers since the '70s. Be sure to check out the undercariage on the Deere, with that many hours it will need some work. I was told the early H series had some problems, i think they were the first hydro Deere had built. Its been a while since I have been around them but at the dealer ship we saw a lot of 5k hour plus H dozers going strong. If its welded into the face of the c-frame then its the new style and much better. If its mounted up and down it will wear quickly. One thing to check is what style blade ball it has. The H series dozers were a pretty solid dozer. Lookin at a couple dozers a 2002 deere 650 H has 3200 hours a 2005 case 850k with supposedly 450 hours no experience with either case or deere dozers was told deere dozers were hard to beat and would hold the resale better cant make up my mind between these 2 deere is about $6,000 less any comments much appreciated Posted 21:42 (#1829411) Subject: Dozers Deere vs Case ( logon | register )ĭozers Deere vs Case Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1
